The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team fell to McDaniel, 15-3, Tuesday evening at Mangelsdorf Field.

Sarah Bender, Lexee Willey and Lauren Weitzel all scored for MU and Kaila Quinilvan added an assist.

Brianna Ladner had four groundballs, two caused turnovers and two draw controls and Kristen Ritter had two draw controls.

Maggie McGovern and Erika DeSantis combined for 10 saves in goal.

McDaniel jumped out to a 4-0 lead with 13:41 left in the first half.

Bender scored MU's first goal less than a minute later, but the Green Terror answered with four more goals to take an 8-1 lead.

Willey scored with 3:29 to go, but McDaniel added a man-up goal in the final minute to lead 9-2 at halftime.

McDaniel scored six unanswered goals in the second half until Weitzel scored in the closing seconds.
