The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team advanced to the MAC Freedom championship game with a 17-4 win over King's, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.

Kaila Quinlivan led the Cougars with four goals and an assist and
Amy Roth added three goals.

Kristen Ritter had a goal and two assists and
Justine Johnson,
Lauren Weitzel and
Shae O'Leary all scored twice.
Â
Roth put the Cougars ahead 2:01 into the game and MU cruised to a 15-0 halftime lead.
Â
Weitzel made it 2-0 less than a minute later and Quinlivan added a man-up goal just 40 seconds later.

Ritter scooped up a ground ball off a turnover and hit Quinlivan in stride for a 4-0 lead.

Roth,
Katie Reilly and Quinlivan scored three consecutive free position goals as the Cougars went up 9-0 with 18:00 to play in the first half.

Connell took a pass on the run from Ritter and bounced in a shot and Ritter followed with a shot under the bar to make it 11-0 with 10:05 left in the first half.

Quinlivan and Johnson both came from behind the net to score goals for a 14-0 lead with 2:10 to go in the first half.

Johnson took a pass behind the net from Reilly and stuffed a shot inside the left post at the end of the first half to give MU a 15-0 lead.

Brianna Ladner had a team-high five draw controls while Ritter added three and four ground balls.Â

Weitzel had three draw controls and
Alyssa Grieco had three ground balls and three caused turnovers.

The Cougars won their 10
th straight game to improve to 13-5 and will host FDU-Florham, Saturday at 1:00.
