Pearage Leads MU Women's Soccer in Opener

The Misericordia University women's soccer team opened the season with a 3-0 win at SUNY-Oneonta, Friday evening.

Kendall Pearage had two goals and an assist to lead the Cougars.

Zoee Farr added a goal and Michaela Fasolino and Kaylee Sturans each had an assist.

Alexis Benedetto made four saves to earn the shutout.

Pearage put the Cougars in front with an assist from Fasolino in the 26th minute and added another tally three minutes before halftime off an assist from Sturans.

Farr closed out the scoring three minutes into the second half.

MU will host Cortland, Tuesday at 7:00.
