Box Score 2 The Misericordia University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches at the Moravian Greyhound Premiere Tournament, Saturday.
The Cougars dropped the first match to Penn State Harrisburg, 3-2 (16-25, 25-15, 25-21, 20-25, 13-15), but rebounded to beat Moravian, 3-1 (25-21, 25-16, 18-25, 25-22).
Jassmine Watson had 24 kills on the day and was named to the all-tournament team.
Watson had a team-high 15 kills against PSU-Harrisburg and
Tara Welliver added 11 kills, three aces and two blocks.
Faith Merritt had seven kills and
Karley May had 43 assists.Â
Mikayla Gunkle added 13 digs.
Against Moravian, Watson added nine kills and three aces and Merritt had 13 kills and three blocks.
Welliver had 12 kills and three blocks and
Alexa Monro had 12 digs.
May had 43 assists and two aces.
The Cougars will travel to the Rowan Invitational, Friday.
