The Misericordia University women's volleyball team extended its win streak to six games with a sweep of Marywood and Penn College, Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.
Tara Welliver led the Cougars with 15 kills against Marywood while
Faith Merritt and
Amanda Curcio added eight and seven kills, respectively.
Curcio and
Karley May both had two aces and May had 39 assists.
Shelby Hastings had three blocks and
Jassmine Watson had a team-high eight digs.
Jessica Oltman had a team-high seven kills and four blocks against Penn while
Fiona Pyfer had six aces and three kills.
Allison Swartz and
Alexis Hendrickson both had seven digs.
The Cougars took the opener 25-21, 25-17, 25-15 and won the nightcap, 25-13, 25-17, 25-17.
Misericordia is 7-3 and returns to action with a tri-match with Lancaster Bible at Clarks Summit, Thursday at 4:00.
