The Misericordia University women's tennis team dropped a tough 5-4 decision to Cortland, Wednesday afternoon.
After falling behind 3-0 in doubles, the Cougars rallied in singles play, but came up just short.
Hannah Bonk won via retirement at first singles and
Kayla Rembish was a 6-3, 6-2 winner at number four.
Lauren Visalli rallied for a 3-6, 6-2, 10-7 win at fifth singles and
Samantha Atcavage won 6-2, 6-4 at number six.
The Cougars will travel to Moravian, Saturday.
