The Misericordia University women's volleyball team had its 12-match win streak snapped with a pair of losses at the Cougar Clash, Friday night at the Anderson Center.
Elizabethtown rallied from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Cougars in the opener, 3-2, and Cortland took the nightcap, 3-0.
Fiona Pyfer led the Cougars with 16 kills against E-Town and
Tara Welliver and
Jessica Oltman added 10 kills each.
Karley May had 41 assists and
Allison Swartz had 22 digs.
Oltman added a team-high three blocks.
Pyfer,
Faith Merritt and
Amanda Curcio all had seven kills against Cortland.
May had 19 blocks and eight digs and Swartz had 11 digs.
Welliver led the Cougars with three aces.
Misericordia, 12-5, will face York and Oswego, Saturday.
