The Misericordia University women's soccer team defeated Moravian, 2-1, Saturday night in Bethlehem.
Kendall Pearage and
Devyn Anderson scored less than eight minutes apart in the first half as the Cougars improved to 4-2-1.
Michaela Fasolino and
Kaylee Sturans added assists.
Alexis Benedetto made two saves in goal.
The Cougars held a 9-5 edge in shots, including 6-3 in shots on goal, and had a 4-2 advantage in corners.
Moravian opened the scoring at 15:20, but Pearage answered just over a minute later from 10 yards out off a crossing pass from Fasolino.
Anderson flicked home the game-winner off a cross from Sturans at 24:08.
The MU defense limited Moravian to just one shot in the second half.
Misericordia will travel to Susquehanna, Wednesday.
