The Misericordia University field hockey team picked up a 2-1 win over Cedar Crest, Wednesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Madisyn Granoski had a goal and an assist and Allie Bianco added a goal while Anna Effinger added an assist for the Cougars.
Katelyn Campbell made two saves in goal to earn the win.
Bianco put Misericordia up 1-0 with less than minute left in the first quarter off a Granoski feed from the right side to find the inside of the left post.
Effinger dished the ball to Granoski from 15 yards out and she quickly ripped a shot past the goalie with five minutes left in the first half.
Misericordia will travel to Delaware Valley for their first MAC Freedom contest, Saturday at noon.
