The Misericordia University men's volleyball team picked up two wins to end the Cougar Kickoff Classic, Saturday at the Anderson Center.
The Cougars defeated Lasell, 3-1, and Randolph-Macon, 3-0, to improve to 3-1.
Ryan Miller was named the Tournament MVP and Dylan Sellitti was voted to the All-Tournament team.
In the opener, Billy Murphy led the team with 18 kills, nine digs and one block. Miller had 17 kills, three aces and three blocks.
Matt Lavin added six kills, two aces and four blocks while Austin Cervasio totaled three kills and five blocks.
Sellitti collected 40 assists during the match and Connor Westerfield had 18 digs.
The Cougars won the first set, 25-20, and the battled to a 28-26 win before dropping the third set, 25-21. They ended the match with a hard fought 25-23 win.
In the tourney finale, Miller led MU with 13 kills, three blocks and seven digs and Cervasio added six kills and three blocks.
Murphy and Matt Lavin each had five kills and one block.
Sellitti racked up 27 assists and three aces and Westerfield had a team high 11 digs.
The Cougars took the first set 25-22, followed by a 25-14 win. They took the final set, 25-21.
Misericordia will head to Ramapo, Wednesday at 7 p.m.​
