The Misericordia University men's volleyball team split a tri-match with Cairn and Hunter, Saturday at the Anderson Center.
After sweeping Cairn, 3-0, the Cougars dropped heartbreaking 3-2 decision to Hunter in the nightcap.
The Cougars past Cairn, 25-17, 25-12, 25-17 and took the first two sets from Hunter, 25-22, 32-30. The Hawks rallied to win three straight, 25-20, 25-10, 15-10.
In the opener,
Billy Murphy led the Cougars with 11 kills and seven digs.
Dylan Sellitti had 27 assists and
Brian Ross and
John Natiello both had three aces.
In the nightcap,
Ryan Miller had 13 kills, two aces and three blocks and Murphy added 11 kills.
Austin Cervasio had five blocks and matt Lavin added eight kills and three blocks.
Sellitti had 33 assists.
The Cougars are 4-2 and will travel to Penn State Altoona, Thursday.
