The Misericordia men's basketball team defeated MAC Freedom opponent King's, 73-62, Wednesday night at the Anderson Center.
Noah Rivera notched another double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds while adding three blocks. Nate Kreitzer tallied 17 points, six rebounds and four assists.
Tony Harding had nine points and 10 rebounds and Joseph Baldachino came up big off the bench with nine points.
The Cougars found themselves in the lead early after Rivera found Darius Jackson wide open in the corner for three to put them up 12-4.
Kreitzer nailed a three from well beyond the arc with 13 minutes left in the first half to give MU a 17-11 lead.
Baldachino came off the bench and caught hit three, three-pointers helping extend MU's lead to 39-18 with six minutes left until halftime.
Harding gave Misericordia their biggest lead of the night moments later after he laid one in to put them 43-18.
The Cougars went into the locker room up 20 points, 48-28.
Rivera kicked things off in the second half tossing one off the glass on an inbound from Harding.
With 11 minutes left to play, Kreitzer drove hard down the lane and drained a nice layup for a 59-46 lead.
King's cut the lead down to six points with four minutes left to play but, the Cougars went 8-9 from the foul line to seal the win.
Misericordia will head to FDU-Florham, Saturday at 1 p.m. for another MAC Freedom matchup.​
