The Misericordia University women's basketball team dropped a tough 74-68 contest at King's, Tuesday.
Tessa Zamolyi contributed a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebound while Jordan Barth chipped in 13 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Alyssa Bondi added 13 points Melina Santacroce had 10 points on 4-4 shooting from the floor, and six rebounds.
Elizabeth Fasti made two free throws to give the Cougars a 26-25 lead early in the second quarter and Zamolyi and Santacroce combined for 10 points to stretch the lead to 39-31.
King's rallied to within and Zamolyi ended the first half with a free throw for a 42-40 lead.
The teams traded the lead throughout the third quarter and finished the period tied, 59-59, after an Erica Haefele jumper in the lane.
King's went ahead for good with a pair of free throws early in the fourth quarter.
Misericordia can clinch the second seed in the MAC Freedom with a win in their regular season finale at Eastern, Saturday.
