The Misericordia University men's volleyball team swept Brooklyn College, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22, Wednesday evening in Brooklyn.
Ryan Miller had nine kills, nine digs and two aces and
Austin Cervasio had seven kills and two blocks.
Matt Lavin had six kills and
Billy Murphy had 10 digs and two aces.
Dylan Sellitti added 34 assists.
Down 4-1 in the opening set, Miller had two aces as the Cougars scored four straight points to take a 5-4 lead.
Lavin had two kills and
Tyler Mallozzi ended the set with an ace to clinch a 25-17 win.
Mallozzi and Cervasio had back-to-back kills to break a 17-17 tie in the second set and Mallozzi made it 20-17 with an ace.
A kill by
Connor Cusick capped a 5-1 run to end the set and clinch a 25-19 win.
In the finale, Mallozzi had two kills as part of a 7-0 run as the Cougars took a 10-2 lead.

The Cougars are 9-7 and will open their MAC Freedom schedule with a tri-match with Widener at Wilkes, Thursday at 4:00.
