The Misericordia University men's basketball season came to a close with an 81-57 loss at Eastern, Saturday.
 
Diby Keita led the Cougars with 11 points and Tony Harding, Nate Kreitzer, Darius Jackson and Nick Prociak all added eight points.
 
Harding had a team-high six rebounds.
 
The Cougars fell into an 8-0 hole before Jackson hit a three-pointer just over four minutes into the game.
 
The Eagles built a double digit lead, but MU got within seven on a Harding layup with 1:17 left in the first half.
 
Eastern closed the half on a 7-2 run to take a 40-28 lead at halftime.
 
Keita hit a three-pointer to get the Cougars within 47-40 with 13:55 to play, but Eastern answered with a 19-2 run.
