The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team dropped a 14-7 decision to Scranton, Wednesday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.
Kaila Quinlivan led the Cougars with three goals and
Amy Roth added two goals, two ground balls and three caused turnovers.
Lauren Weitzel had a goal, an assist, three ground balls and three draw controls.
Maggie McGovern made seven saves in goal.
Scranton took a 3-0 lead in just over five minutes into the game before Quinlivan go the Cougars on the board with 24:24 left to play in the first half.
Scranton followed with five straight goals before
Lexee Willey scored for the Cougars with 17:34 remaining.
Quinlivan added another goal late in the first half and the Cougars trailed 10-3 at halftime.
