The Misericordia University women's soccer team remained unbeaten in the MAC Freedom with a thrilling 2-1 win over Stevens, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.

Madison Brdaric scored the game-winner with 1:07 remaining with an assist from
Emma Przyhocki.

Colleen Kinsella added a goal for the Cougars as the Cougars improved to 12-1 overall and 4-0 in the MAC Freedom.

The Cougars carried much of the play throughout the first half and finally got on the board in the 44
th minute.

Kinsella volleyed a left-footed shot from eight yards out inside the left post.

Stevens pulled even in the 84
th minute and it appeared as though the teams were headed to overtime.

The Ducks cleared an MU corner and Przyhocki lofted a ball over the top from 40 yards out and Brdaric one-time a shot across the goal into the left side netting.

The Cougars had a 22-11 edge in shots, including 8-3 on goal.

Misericordia earned eight corners while surrendering just one.

The Cougars will visit Lycoming, Wednesday.
