The Misericordia University women's cross country team turned in a dominant performance to claim the team title at the MAC Championships, Saturday at DeSales.
 
Olivia Visaggio (23:30) finished third overall to lead the Cougars to their fifth MAC title in seven seasons.
 
Alexa Thompson and Abby James were fifth and sixth, respectively, to join Visaggio on the All-MAC first team.
 
Brianna Wagner finished 26^th and Sarah DeVries was 28^th to earn third-team All-MAC honors and round out MU's top five.
 
Chris Wadas was named MAC Coach of the Year.
 
The Cougars finished with 68 points to top the 17-team field and easily out distance runner-up Widener at 110.
 
MU will compete at the NCAA Mideast Regional, November 13.
