The Misericordia University women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches in a tri-match with Stevenson and Cabrini in their regular season finale, Saturday.

The Cougars lost 3-2 to Stevenson in the opener and fell 3-0 to Cabrini.

In the opener, MU dropped the first two sets, 25-13, 25-19, but rallied to take the next two, 25-17, 25-21.

The Mustangs took the fifth set, 15-9.

Faith Merritt led the Cougars with 16 kills and
Fiona Pyfer and
Jessica Oltman had 11 and nine, respectively.

Annika Massa had 43 assists and three aces.

Alexis Hendrickson had 17 digs and
Jessica Cleveland added 14.

Cabrini took the nightcap, 25-20, 25-19, 25-14.

Merritt and
Sadie Stockslager had seven kills each and Oltman added five.

Massa had 23 assists and Cleveland had 13 digs.

Misericordia, 14-16, is the third seed in the MAC Freedom Championships. The Cougars will travel to Stevens in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Wednesday.
