Sturans Leads MU Past Arcadia

The Misericordia University women's soccer team improved to 10-1 overall and 2-0 in the MAC Freedom with a dominant 1-0 win at Arcadia, Saturday.

Kaylee Sturans scored the game's only goal in the 85th minute with an assist Emma Sweitzer.

Sturans finally got MU on the board on the Cougars' 40th shot of the match.

Misericordia held a commanding edge in shots 41-3, including 15-2 on goal.

MU took 10 corners while not allowing any.

Alexis Benedetto made two saves to record the shutout.

Misericordia will host Wilkes, Tuesday at 7:00.
