The Misericordia University men's basketball team lost at Immaculata, 80-63, Monday.

Rodrigo Vani led the Cougars with 14 points and seven rebounds while Nick Hornung had eight points and five rebounds.

Chris Robinson's three-pointer gave MU a 12-8 lead less than six minutes into the game, but the Mighty Macs rallied to take a 23-16 lead with 11:16 to play in the first half.

Vani's layup got MU within 27-23 with 8:16 to go, but Immaculata closed the half on a 16-5 run to take a 43-28 lead.

The Macs maintained a double digit lead throughout the second half.

MU will travel to Susquehanna, Sunday.
