The Misericordia University women's basketball team won its fourth straight game with a 69-60 victory at Wilkes University, Friday night.

Elizabeth Fasti recorded a career-high 25 points, shooting 4-7 from three-point range, to lead the Cougars. Â Â
Alyssa Bondi scored 14 points, shooting 3-5 from three-point range, and
Nora Tracey posted a stat line of seven points, 12 rebounds, and two blocks on the night.

Melina Santacroce contributed seven points and led MU with 13 rebounds.

MU jumped out to a 20-9 lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Fasti knocked down all four of her three-pointers in the first quarter, as well a layup, leading to a 14-point opening period for the sophomore guard.

Wilkes cut the lead to 25-18 at the 5:39 mark of the second quarter, but Tracey responded with a layup to push the lead to 27-18.

The Cougars came out of the halftime break strong, pushing their lead to 21, after a pair of free throws from Fasti to make it 47-26. Â MU took a 52-34 lead into the fourth quarter.

Wilkes made a run in the fourth quarter, winning the period 26-17, but was never able to cut the lead below nine. A pair of Bondi free throws with 0:21 seconds left put the game out of reach at 69-58.

MU wraps up their regular season with a 5-3 record.
