The Misericordia University women's swim team finished second in the MAC Virtual Pentathlon, Saturday, March 13.
The Cougars compiled 340 points to finish behind Stevens (433.5) in the 10-team field.
Kate Bernauer led the Cougars with four top-7 finishes in five events and finished second in the "Queen of the Pool" standings, just .01 off the winning overall time.
She was second in the 100 free (56.94) and fourth in the 100 IM (1:06.36). She added a fifth-place showing in the 100 fly (1:03.16) and was seventh in the 100 back (1:04.89).
Cassidy Preste was MU's top finisher with a third-place showing in the 100 breaststroke (1:13.5) while
Camryn Hubric was 14
th (1:17.45).
Hubric was eighth in the 100 free (58.49), ninth in the 100 back (1:05.9) and 11
th in the 100 fly (1:04.46).
Jen Scott finished 13
th in the 100 fly (1:05.30) and 100 back (1:07.36) and was 14
th in the 100 free (59.2).
Gabby Velazquez was 13
th in the 100 IM (1:07.64) and placed 15
th in the 100 fly (1:05.73).
