The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team defeated Lebanon Valley College, 23-6, Wednesday afternoon in Annville.

Kyle Vandenberg led the Cougars with six goals and three assists and picked up four ground balls.

Robert Wagner had four goals and two assists while
Nick Torzilli scored four goals.

Garrett Heidecker won 25 of 27 face-offs and picked up 15 ground balls. Bryan DeGeneres got the win in goal recording 10 saves.

Wagner and
Nick Caprio both had five ground balls.

Wagner started scoring for the Cougars with a goal at the 10:07 mark of the first period en route to a 4-0 lead after one quarter.

Vandenberg scored his second goal of the second period with 3:08 left in the first half and Cougars took a 12-2 lead to halftime.

Misericordia scored 11 consecutive goals to take a 16-2 with 5:07 to play in third period.

Wagner scored a man-up goal with 0:30 left in the game to give the Cougars a 23-6 lead to finish up the scoring as the Cougars improved to 4-2.
