The Misericordia University men's volleyball team ended the regular season with a 3-0 sweep over Widener, Wednesday night on Doc Mould Court.
Anthony DePalma led the Cougars with 12 kills and three aces while
Brian Ross and
Billy Murphy added seven kills each.
Ross,
Matt Lavin and
Connor Cusick all had two blocks while
Dylan Sellitti had 30 assists and two aces.
Murpy had a kill and an ace to start a 6-0 run and DePalma closed it with a kill to give the Cougars an 8-2 lead in the opener.
Lavin had an ace to go along with four Widener errors as the Cougars scored five straight points to take a 23-15 lead.
Murphy had two kills and an ace as the Cougars closed the second set on a 6-1 run.
Lavin had wo kills and DePalma had two aces as MU opened the third set with a 9-1 win.
