The Misericordia University women's swim team opened the MAC Virtual Championships with several lifetime bests times, Friday evening at the Anderson Center.

Camryn Hubric, Kate Bernauer, Gabby Velazquez and Jen Scott, took nearly nine seconds off their seed time in the 200 free relay to finish at 1:41.42.

Hubric swam a lifetime best 24.41 in the 50 free and Bernauer took nearly 20 seconds of her seed time to set a lifetime best in the 500 free (5:21.55).  Alaina Paul took 18 seconds off her seed time and Karina Armetta dropped 28 seconds in the 500 free.

Hubric, Cassidy Preste, Velazquez and Bernauer took seven seconds off their 400 medley relay time (4:12.91).

Madison Preste (28.29) added a lifetime best in the 50 free.

The Cougars will conclude the championships with two sessions, Saturday (11:00/5:30).
