The Misericordia University women's swim team finished third in the MAC Championships which were held virtually, April 16-18.
The Cougars finished with 875.5 points. Messiah won the team title with 1,117 points while Widener was second at 898.5
Camryn Hubric (24.41) won the 50 free and was third in the 100 free (54.26) and eighth in the 100 back (1:02.97).
Kate Bernauer was fourth in the 500 free (5:21.55), fifth in the 100 fly (1:00.84) and sixth in the 100 free.
Alaina Paul was sixth in the 200 free (2:06.13) and ninth in the 1650 free (19:52.3) and 13
th in the 500 free.
Analiese Hargreaves finished fifth in the 400 IM (5:16.81) and eighth in the 200 fly (2:22.85) while Jen Scott was ninth in the 50 free and 14
th in the 100 fly and 200 back.
Cassidy Preste (2:31.64) finished fourth in the 200 breaststroke, eighth in the 100 breaststroke and 14
th in the 50 free.
Jess Ebner was 12
th in the 200 breaststroke and
Madison Preste was 15
th and Gabby Velazquez was 15
th in the 200 IM (2:24.26).
Mikayla Calitis finished 13
th in the 1650 free while
Hannah Strong was 14
th in the 200 free and Velazquez was 16
th in the 100 fly.
Hubric, Bernauer, Velazquez and Scott were second in the 200 free relay (1:41.42) and third in the 400 free relay (3:44.04).
The Cougars had three other top-seven relay finishes.
