The Misericordia University men's lacrosse team dropped a 24-7 decision at Stevens in the MAC Freedom Championship game, Saturday night.

Patrick Luzzi had three goals and an assist and Robert Wagner had a goal and an assist. 

Bryan DeGennaro made nine saves and Joe Lobb had a team-high four ground balls while Luzzi and Wagner had three each.

Nick Torzilli and Luzzi scored in the opening minutes to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead less than four minutes into the game.

Stevens scored twice late in the first quarter and scored more to take a 6-2 lead with 6:52 left in the first half.

Luzzi scored with 5:27 to go, but the Ducks scored three times in the final 3:40 of the quarter to take a 9-3 lead.

Misericordia finished 10-4.
