Update: March, 7, 2022 - Misericordia University has lifted the indoor masking mandate for all spectators, effective immediately.
UPDATE: January 17, 2022 - Misericordia University will welcome spectators to indoor athletics events with strict masking guidelines in place, beginning Wednesday, January 19, 2022.Â
Regardless of vaccination status, ALL spectators at Misericordia University indoor athletic events are required to PROPERLY wear a
KN95 or 3-ply surgical mask. Cloth masks or gaiters are not acceptable.
Misericordia University encourages social distancing throughout the bleachers. Â Family units may remain seated together.
Spectators are not permitted to interact with players, coaches, officials or staff members before or during the contest and must remain socially distant while inside the Anderson Center.

Pre-game and/or post-game receptions are NOT permitted indoors.
Noncompliance with Misericordia University's COVID19 safety measures will result in removal from the event.

UPDATE: January 4, 2022:Â Due to an increase in COVID-19 cases throughout the region and in the interest of the safety and well-being of our student-athletes and campus community, spectators will be temporarily prohibited from attending indoor athletics events at Misericordia University, effective immediately.
This policy is in effect through Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at which time the policy will be re-evaluated.

Misericordia University is excited for the return of fall semester intercollegiate athletic competition and is committed to the health and safety of our entire community, including spectators.
COVID-19 remains an ever-changing situation and continues to pose a significant health and safety risk. The University is continually monitoring the situation locally, nationally and globally.
In order to provide a safe, healthy and enjoyable athletic environment, the following COVID health and safety protocols will be followed at Misericordia University:
Outdoor athletic contests: (All individuals must have a mask in their possession during their time on campus)
Spectator masking is not required when outdoors, but u
niversal masking is required when entering an authorized indoor facility (building, restroom, etc.). Face coverings must be properly worn at all times when indoors.
Unvaccinated spectators are asked to properly wear a mask when in close proximity to others.
Spectators are not permitted in spaces directly behind or in proximity to team bench or gathering areas during pre-game warm up or competition.
Spectators may greet student athletes in an area AWAY from contest site following competition.
Indoor athletic contests:
Universal masking is required at all times when indoors.Â
Masks may be lowered during the consumption of food or drink in designated indoor areas.
Spectators are not permitted in spaces directly behind or in proximity to team bench or gathering areas during pre-game warm up or competition.
Spectators may greet student athletes in an area AWAY from contest site following competition.
Post-game gatherings:
Approved post-game gatherings must be held outside.Â
Admission fee (football & basketball):
Admission will be charged for football and women's and men's basketball.
Admission will be cash only. Exact amount is encouraged in order to limit cash exchange.
Adult: $5.00
Seniors: $3.00
Non-Misericordia University students : $3.00
MU students and Children under 10: FREE
Please note that these protocols are subject to change.
Those found in violation of any protocols will be removed from the competition site.
