Six Misericordia University women's tennis players advanced to the semifinals of the MAC Individual Championships, Saturday at Kirby Park.

Brianna Pizzano and
Emily Brecker both won twice to advance to the semifinals at first and second singles, respectively.

Lydia Barbour reached the semis at fourth singles along with
Cassie Benderavich at number five.

Lauren Visalli and
Nicole Pangiochi both moved on to the final four at sixth and seventh singles, respectively.

Pizzano and Brecker also reached the semis at first doubles while Barbour and Benderavich advanced at third doubles.

At first singles, Pizzano won 6-2, 6-1 over Dasha Yakhnis of Wilkes and beat Torrienne Emery of Stevenson, 6-0, 6-1. She will face Jacquelyn McBride of Lebanon Valley in the semifinals.

Brecker won 6-0, 6-0 over Mercedes Lohmann of Eastern in the first round at second singles and defeated Bailey Greco of DeSales, 6-2, 6-4. She will face Lauren Ostermann of York in the semis.

At number four, Barbour cruised with a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins over Katie Driscoll of Hood and She will play Polina Odintseva of Stevens in the semis.

Benderavich won 6-3, 6-3 over Jackelyn Checo of Alvernia in her first match at fifth singles. She downed Sarah Stettler of King's, 6-0, 6-1, and will play Theresa Amerise of Wilkes in the semifinals.

Visalli beat Marina Lemin of FDU-Florham, 6-0, 6-0 and downed Alyssa Vandenberge of DeSales, 6-4, 6-1, at sixth singles. She will play Juliette Marchisio of Stevens in the semis.

At number seven, Pangiochi, W 6-4, 6-0 over Addison Angstadt of Lycoming, and beat Stevenson's Shayna Bennof, 6-0, 6-0.

Hailey Loughlin/Visalli defeated. Skove/Zudov of Stevenson, 8-0, in the first round at second doubles, but fell to Heaberlin/Marchisio of Stevens, 9-7.
