Kaylee Sturans had a hat trick and Emma Sweitzer had a goal and two assists as the Misericordia University women's soccer team improved to 3-0 with a 4-0 win over Shenandoah in the game of the Cougar Classic, Saturday at Mangelsdorf Field.
 
Sturans scored twice in a 6:15 span in the first half to give the Cougars a 2-0 lead at 24:12
 
She made it 3-0 less than three minutes into the second half and Sweitzer closed out the scoring with an assist from Colleen Kinsella in the 66^th minute.
 
The Cougars held a commanding 29-5 edge in shots and allowed just two shots on goal.
 
MU will face Carnegie Mellon in a battle of unbeaten teams, Sunday at 1:00.
