The Misericordia University dropped two matches on the final day of the Haverford Invitational, Saturday.
The Cougars lost the opener to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, 3-1 (19-25, 17-25, 25-23, 19-25) and dropped the finale to Haverford, 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-18).
In the opener,
Jessica Oltman and
Fiona Pyfer had six kills each and
Katie Kraeker added five kills.Â
Annika Massa had 24 assists, 12 digs, three blocks and three aces and
Alexa Monro had seven digs and three aces.
Shelby Hastings had three blocks.
Against Haverford,
Faith Merritt led the Cougars with nine kills and 15 digs while
Isabella George added five kills.
Alexandra Bosco had 14 assists and two aces.
MU will open MAC Freedom play at DeSales, Wednesday.
