Box Score The Misericordia University women's soccer team improved to 2-0 with a 2-1 win at Lebanon Valley, Wednesday.
 
Michaela Fasolino and Julia Beck scored goals for the Cougars while Kate Field added an assist.
 
Alexis Benedetto made four saves in goal.
 
The Cougars held a convincing 32-9 edge in shots.
 
After getting off 18 shots in the first half, Fasolino got the Cougars on the board at 57:20 with an assist from Field.
 
Beck added an insurance goal with her first career goal in the 82^nd minute.
 
LVC cut MU's lead in half with a goal at 84:58.
 
Misericordia will host Shenandoah in the opening game of the Cougar Classic, Saturday at 1:30.
