Box Score The Misericordia University women's basketball team defeated Maine-Presque Isle, 52-39, Tuesday afternoon in Puerto Rico.

Gianna Delfino led the Cougars with nine points and eight rebounds and Melina Santacroce added eight points and six rebounds.

Morgan Haefele had a team-high four assists.

The Cougars led 28-24 at halftime and used a 13-6 third quarter to pull away.

Misericordia is 8-3 and will face Gettysburg, Wednesday at noon.
