Fasti added a layup and Santacroce made two free throws to give MU a 12-8 lead after one period.

Skylar Dowling opened the second quarter with a layup to put the Cougars up, 14-8.

Delfino hit a three-pointer to make it 17-12 with 7:38 left in the second period, but Scranton closed the half on a 14-3 run to take 28-20 lead into halftime.

Morgan Haefele hit a three-pointer from the right win and assisted on Meaghan McCaffrey's layup to get the Cougars within 36-33 with 2:09 left in the third period.
