Brenna Karnish won the shot put (12.46m) and weight throw (16.51m) to lead the Misericordia University women's indoor track & field team at the Susquehanna Invitational, Saturday.

Alexa Thompson (5:22.87) won the mile and Sarah Wagner placed in three events.

Wagner won the long jump (5.58m), finished fourth at 200m (27.23) and was fifth at 60m (8.03).

Casey Allen (1.57m) was third in the high jump and Hayley Engle was sixth.

Sonialys Badillo (1:02.06) and Amber Hackenberg were fourth and fifth, respectively, at 400m and Averi Rine (2:28.08) was fifth at 800m.

Madison Swartout (3.05m) finished seventh in the pole vault.

Carlina Davis, Kelsey Annasenz, Kristin Gallagher and Rine finished third in the 4x800 relay (10:20.76).

The Cougars will compete at the MAC Indoor Championships, February 25-26.
