The Misericordia University women's basketball team will host Wilkes in a MAC Freedom quarterfinal, Wednesday at 7:00 on Doc Mould Court.

The Cougars are seeded fourth after finishing 15-10 overall and 10-6 in league play.  Wilkes knocked off second-seeded Stevens in the regular season finale to clinch the fifth seed.

Misericordia won both regular season meetings.  This is the first postseason meeting between the two local rivals.

Alyssa Bondi leads MU with 15.0 points per game while Gianna Delfino adds 6.3 ppg and a team-high 7.4 rebounds per game.

Bondi is seventh in the league in scoring while Delfino is fifth in rebounding and teammate Melina Santacroce is 10^th with 7.0 rpg.

Katelyn Kinczel leads Wilkes in scoring and is 11^th in the MAC Freedom with 10.6 ppg.

The MU/Wilkes winner will face the DeSales/Delaware Valley winner in Saturday's semifinals.
