MU Drops Pitcher's Duel at Kean

The Misericordia University baseball team suffered a tough 2-1 defeat at Kean, Wednesday afternoon.

MU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the seventh, but Kean rallied for a pair of runs in the bottom of the eighth.

Jason Sanfilippo had two hits and an RBI for MU.

Isaac Snyder struck out seven over five shutout innings, but didn't factor in the decision.

Brendan Gray walked and eventually scored on Sanfilippo's two-out single in the seventh to give MU a 1-0 lead.

The Cougars will face Haverford, Saturday at Kean.
