The Misericordia University women's track & field team won nine events in their outdoor season opener, Saturday at King's.
Sarah Wagner won the 100m (12.82) and 200m (26.28) and
Brenna Karnish won the discus (38.35m) and hammer throw (46.22m).
Alexa Thompson won at 5000m (18:25.48) and
Averi Rine won at 400m (1:01.26).
Jordyn Cather won the javelin (38.58m) and
Casey Allen and
Natasha Mihalko won the high jump (1.63m) and triple jump (10.72m), respectively.
Mihalko and
Sonialys Badillo were second and third, respectively, in the 100m, and
Olivia Visaggio was second at 5000m.
Sarah DeVries (5:05.08),
Brianna Wagner and
Kayla Hughey were second through fourth, respectively, at 1500m and 800m.
Badillo was second at 200m and
Amber Hackenberg was fourth.
Jill Olewine (5.14m) was second in the long jump and Ziahna Davis was fourth.
Alexandra Snyder was second in the javelin and
Tessa Zamolyi was third.
Casey Allen was third at 400m and
Marie Scarborough was third in the pole vault.
