Eight different players scored goals as the Misericordia University women's lacrosse team defeated Delaware Valley, 19-1, Saturday afternoon at Mangelsdorf Field.

Michelle Torzilli had four goals and three assists and Rachel Shook had three goals, two assists and 11 draw controls.

Molly Celesky had three goals and an assist and Samantha Mahoney scored three goals.

Alyssa Grieco had two goals and four assists and Savanah Winpigler scored twice.

Kylee Cush had a goal and two assists and Carly Rigby scored a goal.

Maggie McGovern and Lena Conway combined for three saves.

Rigby opened the scoring and five different Cougars scored in the first 6:00 of the game.

Shook scored twice at the end of the first quarter to make it 9-0 and the Cougars stretched the lead to 13-0 at halftime.

The Cougars improved to 6-4 overall and 2-0 in the MAC Freedom.

MU will visit Stevens, Saturday.
