The Misericordia University League of Legends team downed Holy Cross, 3-1, to win the NECC Navigators Yellow Division championship.

In game one, the Cougars went with comfort picks and
Peter Sayre and
Jackson Garippa helped MU secure the first two dragons of the game. With Zack Grosvenor on Ornn, the Cougars had a strong team-fight presence and pushed the opponents off objectives.

MU took the opener, 38-22, in 38 minutes.

In game two, the Cougars went with a wombo combo strategy with
Peter Sayre on Miss Fortune and
Shayne Spencer on Seraphine. Due to a few mistakes in the lanning phase, Holy Cross took a small lead on Sayre which made his ultimate less effective in team-fights.

Jacob Prest secured four dragons, but Holy Cross won the game to even the series, 1-1.

The Cougars came out with some fire in game three and almost immediately secured the first elimination at 3:10 in the bot lane by Peter and
Daniel Sayre.

The Cougars took objective after objective with the help of
Jackson Garippa and
Zach Hemond.

Grosvenor and Hemond ended the game, 12-0 and the Cougars won, 45-7, in 27 minutes.

The Cougars kept their momentum in game four with an early elimination by Grovesnor in the top lane.

With some help from Garippa, Grovesnor out pressure his lane oppenet giving him a huge lead.

With the lead, the Cougars sieged tower after tower slowing pushing into the opponents base. After securing a dragon, the Cougars went for a final siege and destroyed Holy Cross Nexus to clinch the win.
