The Misericordia University women's tennis team dropped a 5-3 decision at Wilkes in the MAC Freedom semifinals, Tuesday.
Brianna Pizzano and
Emily Brecker accounted for all three of Misericordia's points, including an 8-4 win at first doubles.
Pizzano won 6-1, 6-2 to remain unbeaten at first singles and Brecker won 6-0, 6-2 at second singles.
Lauren Visalli took the first set at sixth singles, 7-5, and led 5-2 in the second set when the match was halted.
Hailey Loughlin and
Lydia Barbour dropped a tough 8-5 decision at second doubles and
Cassie Benderavich and Visalli lost by the same score at third doubles.
