The Misericordia University baseball team rebounded in a big way with a 25-7 win over Stevens in game two of their MAC Freedom best of three series, Sunday afternoon at Tambur Field.

After dropping a 6-4 decision in the opener, the Cougars pounded out 20 hits and took advantage of 15 walks to force a decisive game three, Monday at 3:30.

Derrick Vosburg had seven RBI in the nightcap and Garrett McIlhenney and Joe Comins both scored five runs.

Owen VanNewkirk and Connor Maryniak both had three hits.

David McCurry struck out four and scattered nine hits over six innings to earn the win.
