The Misericordia University men's tennis team won its season opener, 4-3, over Marywood, Tuesday afternoon.
Zach Hemond and
Dalton Alexander were both double-winners for the Cougars.
After teaming for an 8-5 win at first doubles, Hemond and Alexander both won in three sets at first and second singles, respectively.
Derek Burcik added the clinching point with a 6-4, 6-1 win at fifth singles.
Jack Biggs and Max Burke won at third and fourth singles, respectively, for Marywood and teamed to win at second doubles.
