The Misericordia University women's tennis team won its dual season opener, 8-1, over Marywood, Tuesday afternoon.

Brianna Pizzano, Lauren Visalli, Hailey Loughlin, Lydia Barbour and Erin Cridge were all double-winners for the Cougars.

Pizzano won at first singles and joined Visalli to win at second doubles while Visalli added win at fifth singles.

Barbour won at second singles and team with Loughlin to win first doubles while Loughlin won at third singles.

Cridge won at fourth singles and joined Teresa Thomas to win at third doubles.
