The Misericordia University field hockey team dropped a tough 3-2 decision to Susquehanna, Tuesday night at Mangelsdorf Field.
Abigail O'Donnell and
Olivia Kempf scored for MU.Â
Meghan Radnoff had an assist.
Susquehanna scored twice in a four-minute span and led 2-0 at 10:54. O'Donnell cut the lead in half 30 seconds later with an assist from Radnoff.
Susquehanna added an insurance goal on a penalty stroke with less than nine minutes to play and Kempf got MU back within one at 54:13.
The Cougars earned a corner with under two minutes remaining, but were unable to generate a shot.
Sarah Bogina made 12 saves in goal for the Cougars.
MU will host Stevens, Saturday at 1:00 at McGeehan Field.
