The Misericordia University women's tennis team improved to 3-0 with a 9-0 win at Albright, Friday.
Brianna Pizzano,
Emily Brecker,
Lydia Barbour,
Hailey Loughlin and
Erin Cridge were all double-winners.
Pizzano won 6-2, 6-0 in a battle of MAC Players of the Year at number-one singles. Pizzano is the two-time reigning MAC Freedom POTY while Albright's Alex Pancu is the reigning POTY and ROTY in the MAC Commonwealth.
Brecker was a 6-1, 5-7, 10-8 winner second singles and Barbour and Loughlin were easy winners at third and fourth singles, respectively.
Cridge won 6-1, 6-1 at number five and
Lauren Visalli was a 7-5, 6-3 winner at number six.
Pizzano/Brecker won 8-5 at first doubles and Barbour/Loughlin won 8-0 at number two.
Cridge &
Cassie Benderavich won 8-4 at third doubles.
