The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision at Lancaster Bible, Tuesday.
Anthony DePalma led the Cougars with 15 kills while
Benjamin Clendening had six kills and five blocks.
Gannon DeFrain had 17 kills and
Kyle Ganoe added 16 while
Connor Spencer had 10 digs.
Lancaster Bible took the opening set, 27-25, and the Cougars answered with a 28-26 win. LCB took the next two sets, 25-20, 25-17.
In the first set, the Cougars rallied from a 19-14 deficit to take a 24-20 lead.
Clendening had a kill and an ace as part of 7-0 run and
Joe Kozak and DeFrain added kills, but the Chargers closed on a 7-1 run.
After Lancaster Bible rallied to take a 25-24 lead in the second set, DePalma's kill and an LCB error gave MU a 26-25 lead.
The Cougars took advantage of a service error and attack error to close out the win.
The Chargers scored five straight points to overcome a 17-16 deficit to win the third set.
Misericordia will host the Cougar Kickoff Classic, Friday and Saturday.
