The Stevenson football team scored 20 points over the final 20 minutes to rally to a 33-21 win over Misericordia University, Saturday.

The Cougars took a 21-13 lead with 11:37 to play in the third period, but the Mustangs scored three straight touchdowns to close the game.

Owen McGuffey had a long touchdown reception and
Jacob Hunter ran for a score and
Xander Shaner returned a fumble for a score.

Down 6-0, Hunter had a short TD run and the PAT gave MU a 7-6 lead with 3:12 to play in the first quarter.

Stevenson went back in front, but Shaner scooped up a fumble and returned it 58 yards for a touchdown as MU regained a 14-13 lead just before halftime.

The Cougars added some insurance when
T.J. Lattimore connected with
Owen McGuffey for a 54-yard scoring strike early in the third period.
The Mustangs tied it late in the third quarter and added two TD's early in the fourth period to provide the winning margin.

Eric Glass had a team-high 11 tackles for the Cougars.
