The Misericordia University women's lacrosse team suffered it first loss of the season, 20-9, to Dickinson, Thursday at Mangelsdorf Field.
Emily Baro led the Cougars with three goals while
Michelle Torzilli had two goals and an assist.
Molly Celesky scored twice and
Genevieve Montanye had a goal and an assist.
Emily Nolan had three groundballs and three caused turnovers while Montanye and Celesky had three groundballs each.
Dickinson scored two quick goals, but the Cougars answered with three straight to take a 3-2 lead.
Celesky's shot in the top left corner got MU on the board with 11:09 left in the first quarter and Baro tied it on a free position goal just over a minute later.
Montanye bounced a shot inside the right post to the Cougars in front with 7:28 left.
Tied 4-4 after one quarter, Dickinson out scored MU, 8-3, in the second period to take a 13-7 halftime lead.
